I created this personal branding campaign to use on professional things that fell outside the scope of Pink Glasses Productions, such as my résumé and business cards for traditional corporate employment. I wanted both PGP and this branding to fit together, while still being different. I had created the branding for PGP first, so I utilized the some of the same Pantone colors to keep with the colorful and lighthearted feel. When I was brain storming for this logo, I tried to think of qualities people seem to like about me. Words like easy-going, creative, lighthearted, and caring were on the top of the list. I created a heart made of structured, colored triangles and placed my name in a rounded font with slanted e’s in the space next to the heart. I broke up the structure of the triangles with an artistic brush stroke to give it a lighter feel. Although I think that designing for myself will probably always be one of my biggest challenges, I feel that I was successful in giving this logo and the Pink Glasses logo a similar, yet different feeling for my two different brands.
